I finally figured out that I can delete poems from Tripod, even if I'm not sure if they are blogged or backed up first. It's only once I publish my Tripod site that they disappear without a trace.

I've deleted a few - probably not enough...!

I have set up a new blog, specifically for my poems inspired by Daphne du Maurier novels.

The URL on blogspot is "mycousinrachel".  I tried for "jamaicainn" or "frenchmanscreek", but both were already taken!  (I didn't even try for "rebecca"...!)

A5 version of my latest collection

The A5 version of my latest poetry collection, "Colourful Chaos and Familiar Darkness", is now available, and can be ordered via Lulu website.

A version, in A4 format, is available, as an alternative, with print in a larger font size.

I have set up a new page on Facebook, which includes a selection of my poetry.

My poems can also be read on my Tripod site and poetry blog.

An A5 version will hopefully be available, as an alternative, in the near future.

Progress with my forthcoming poetry collection

I have now ordered another proof copy of my collection, "Colourful Chaos and Familiar Darkness", incorporating a few minor changes.  If all is well, I will make the collection "public access" and available to purchase.

This is an A4 edition of the collection, as explained in a previous blog post.  I hope to produce an A5 version, also - and possibly an eBook.

Colourful Chaos and Familiar Darkness: update

I received the initial/"proof" copy of my forthcoming collection, "Colourful Chaos and Familiar Darkness", yesterday.  I had somehow managed to order it in A4 format - but Colin and I both loved it, and could see definite advantages to the larger print size, and the fact that my photographic art work was also displayed to good effect, in this format.  However, I do still want to produce an A5 book, like my other Lulu collections, which will sit comfortably upon bookshelves, and have the "feel" of a traditional poetry book.  Because of the set-up on Lulu, I can only make the book available in both format, to my knowledge, by uploading it twice - which I am now intending to do. 

There are also a couple of minor alterations which I may need to make to the content of this collection.

Due to the factors just described, it will take slightly longer than I had hoped and anticipated, to make the book available.  I will announce on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and this blog, when the book is published.

My poetry book, "Spiritual Peace" (paperback format), is currently available at a 15% discount - price £3.40, plus £2.99 postage and packing (postage works out cheaper when ordering multiple books).

An eBook version of this collection is also available, price £1.50.

I have set up a website which includes a selection of poems, from my various poetry collections, all of which can be purchased via Lulu. 

There should also, hopefully, be a new collection, of my recent poetry (October 2012 to February 2013), available very soon.  Further details to follow...:-)

Poetry and websites

Well, apparently I said, in my last post, that I was attempting to make my Tripod poetry site a little less "cluttered".  I don't think that I got very far with that!  But, anyway, I continue to write, and to add poems to both my Tripod site, and my blog.

Not much news, other than that, really...
